As an employer, you know that retaining top talent can be a struggle, especially with the near-constant change efforts organizations must manage to compete in today’s marketplace.
The 2017 Plastics Salary and Trend Survey, conducted by Gros Executive Recruiters and the Society of Plastics Engineers, showed salaries continuing a 3-year negative trend. Companies are finding other ways to make sure their employees are satisfied and remain loyal. The question is, “Is it working?”
According to the survey, employer efforts are paying off in a big way.
To align with the “Fortune 100 Great Places to Work” study, respondents were asked to rate their level of satisfaction based on compensation, responsibility, work environment and coworkers. More than 70% of participants are satisfied in their current position.
To be more specific, about one-third of respondents agree they are “very satisfied,” which makes up the majority share of the audience. And, with only 14% showing a level of dissatisfaction, employers can take comfort that efforts to retain top talent and increase employee satisfaction are working. Keep it up!
