Engineering Manager

Metro carts are smart. How is that possible? For hospitals, Metro carts know which drugs to dispense to each individual patient. For commercial food service, Metro storage shelves incorporate antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of microorganisms, and to keep food safe. For your home, Metro makes free-standing closet shelving that doesn't require nails or screws. You can be at the forefront of these revolutionary products as an employee of Emerson, a Fortune 150 powerhouse.

As engineering manager of the Emerson's Metro business unit, you'll enjoy a fresh, well-organized work environment, because the plant in Acuna Mexico is brand new. The facility is a quick border crossing to nearby Del Rio, Texas, and you could choose to live in either location.

As Engineering Manager, you will be in charge of tooling, process engineering, and quality operations. Your domain will include a broad array of plastic processes: Injection Molding, Rotational Molding (Rotomolding), Blow Molding, and Pultrusion.

Bi-lingual Spanish would be very helpful, but not required. To understand why Emerson chose Acuna Mexico for its new plant, you'll need to see it with your own eyes.

Metal Injection Molding Sales
Sunday, February 12, 2012 4:13 AM

How many competitors do YOU have? Six? A dozen? More than you can count? In the Metal Injection Molding, the answer is very few. Most often, you would be selling against a different process, machined metal parts. So if you can find customers who need a high volume of complex metal parts, you have a good prospect for a sale. Sounds easy, doesn't it? NO. NOTHING'S THAT EASY. But if you're a professional salesperson of manufactured components, we should talk about how you can succeed in this unique role. We are looking for a salesperson who can look at a product and see the opportunity to improve that product by providing a different design or a different material. For example, if you're good at selling plastic injection molded components based on your NEW IDEAS, you should investigate this career opportunity. Or if you are selling machined metal parts and you see a market for high volume injection molded metal parts, let's talk. Other creative-minded sales professionals from technical component arenas might also apply. We're open minded about your background because we're going to test your experience. The employer has proven its stability through 40 years of consistent family ownership and management. It's a comfortable, caring environment into which new ideas will be welcomed.
